The IAFA made their International Debut at Leigh Sports Village, England, on Saturday March 31st. The IAFA lost to Poland 2-1 on what was an historic day for the association. The IAFA Squad trained at the University of Limerick on Saturday. The training day, sponsored by Paddy Power, saw the squad put through their paces both on and off the football pitch. Jason Kenny, Strength Training and Nutritional Coach of Forever Fit Promotions, looked after the squad in the National Strength and Conditioning Centre. The team also took part in a session of Sit-down Volleyball while they finished the day with an Aqua-jogging recovery session in the pool.
