IAFA at Cork Sportsability Day '12

Members of the IAFA squad attended Cork Sports Partnership's Sportsability Day at the Mardyke Arena, University College Cork, on Saturday, December 8th. The IAFA demonstrated the game of Amputee Football to all those in attendance and allowed people to take up a pair of crutches and give the game a go.

Hi

In 1989 I was working on Canary wharf in London with a nice Irish lad called Peter Sheehan.

We were involved in an accident and he lost his leg when a container landed on us. I was not hurt.

I am 50 now and plan to be in Ireland next year to visit other friends I made a lifetime ago.

It would be wonderful if I could track Pete down and all I know was he would be mid 40’s and lost his right leg below the knee. I also know he was from Cork and I am hopeful he is on your books.

If he is please forward my email address to him. If he is not then is there a database somewhere that may be able to help me.
