![]() The IAFA squad played two exhibition games as part of the Damien Duff YBIG 7 a side Kings tournament at Irishtown Stadium, Ringsend, on Saturday 28th June. The IAFA were well beaten by the impressive Irish International Homeless team in their first game but rallied to beat the YBIG fan's team 3-2. Two goals from James Boyle, the first a penalty, and a third from Kevan O'Rourke, set up by Mandy King, helped the amputees to a solid win. The IAFA would like to thank Damien Duff, YBIG and inter7s.com, the tournament's organisers, for the opportunity to showcase the game of amputee football. The IAFA would also like to thank the Irish Homeless team and the YBIG fan's team for providing excellent opposition on the day. That's two more games down for the IAFA squad on the road to Mexico 2014.
